Senior Leadership Team
Pastors Ross and Yvonne Ferguson
Ross Ferguson and his wife Yvonne have been active in the Richmond Community Church for over thirty years, leading the church for the past twelve years as Senior Pastors.
Continuing their individual careers as a Dentist and Physiotherapist, respectively, Ross and Yvonne have been able to be involved in promoting and leading short term Health Missions teams to provide much needed care in countries where it is either unavailable, substandard or unaffordable.
Recognising that in today’s society people are searching and longing more than ever for a sense of family and community, Ross and Yvonne are proud to lead the Richmond Community Church with its emphasis on family and the need to build healthy relationships based on an understanding and awareness of the Father heart of God.
Ross and Yvonne’s adult children are all married, they have twelve grandchildren and are represented in the church with four generations of their family.
Trained as a builder, Terry Bolitho has a background in property investing and property management and has taken responsibility for the church’s maintenance for over 20 years.
It was on a 6 month campervan holiday in Australia in the early 90s that Terry found the Lord and was baptised in a stunning national park near Townsville, Queensland. Returning to New Zealand, Terry and his wife, Shona, sought the right church for them and in 1992 realised that the Richmond Community Church was where the Lord wanted them to be. Since then, the Bolithos have raised their three daughters in this supported environment, surrounded by wonderful friends and relationships.
During his time with the church, Terry has served as a small group leader, treasurer and now as an elder. Terry has been instrumental in building a small house to serve as emergency housing and acted as a landlord to help people in times of need. Finding a heart to support various church missions, Terry has travelled to Uganda and supported the training of a number of pastors and leaders. Particularly close to his heart is the ability to spend time delivering pastoral care and supporting other men in the church.
Terry believes there is no better place for him to be than the Richmond Community Church, helping people with such great hearts and that love the church. He is very appreciative at being able to be a part of the church for over 21 years and the spiritual support he can give and receive.
An experienced teacher, Dave, his wife Jackie and their four children have been part of the Richmond Community Church since 2002 and greatly enjoys being part of four generations with the church.
Dave’s passion is to see people equipped and released to live a life full of purpose. In his words ‘I believe in the church and want to show my commitment to its direction and future’.
To this end, Dave and Jackie are responsible for overseeing the areas of Youth and Children’s ministries in the Richmond Community Church.
